USD Graphice Edge Alumni Invite Final Results
      

               Drew Molacek and Jacob Mathieson recorded event wins to lead the Wayne State men's indoor track and field team at the USD Graphic Edge Alumni Invitational held Saturday at the Dakota Dome in Vermillion.  Several other runners competed for WSC at the Iowa State Open in Ames, Iowa with John Kern posting the top finish (7th) in the 3,000 meter run.
                For the WSC men at the USD Graphic Edge Alumni Invitational, sprinter Drew Molacek won the 60 meter dash in 7.08 seconds and took second in the 200 meter dash in 22.57 seconds.  Jacob Mathieson also picked up a win in the weight throw with a winning mark of 52' 7 ½”.  Other top three finishes included Alex Timperly in the triple jump at 45' 5” and Aaron Garza in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.11 seconds.

                At the Iowa State Open in Ames, John Kern earned a seventh place finish in the 3,000 meter run (9:10.95) and Cheto Cerda finished eighth in the 1000 meter run with a time of 2:36.94.  

                Wayne State will compete next weekend at the Minnesota State Open in Mankato, Minnesota on Friday and Saturday.
