2010 NSIC Baseball Tournament Bracket

            The Wayne State College baseball team is the sixth seed in the 2010 Northern Sun Conference Baseball Tournament that will be played at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud, Minnesota on Wednesday thru Saturday, May 5-8. Pairings for the tournament were released Sunday evening following the league's final regular season games that were played Sunday afternoon.

            The Wildcats are 26-21 this season and face #1 seed Minnesota State (36-12) in a first round game starting at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Joe Faber. Win or lose, the Wildcats will play on Thursday afternoon. Other matchups in the double elimination tournament are #2 seed Winona State (24-8) vs. #5 Southwest Minnesota State (26-16) and #3 seed St. Cloud State (36-13) vs. #4 seed Minnesota Duluth (34-18).

            The winner of the 2010 NSIC Softball Tournament receives an automatic berth in the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament set for May 13-16.
