Sarah Thomsen of Wayne State College has been selected to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District VII Women's Track and Field Team released Thursday afternoon by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Paige Pollard of Wayne State College set a new school record Saturday evening in the 800 meter run competing at the NCAA Division II National Track and Field Championships in Charlotte, North Carolina. Four members of the Wayne State College women’s outdoor track and field competed in three last chance qualifier events over the weekend with hopes of improving their chances at qualifying for the NCAA Division II National Championships and the Wildcats did just that.
