Cody Diehl wins heptathlon at UNK Pre-Holiday Open

UNK Pre-Holiday Open Results
Cody Diehl of Wayne State College won the heptathlon at the UNK Pre-Holiday Open Indoor Track and Field Meet Friday and Saturday in Kearney, Nebraska. Diehl, competing in his first ever heptathlon, scored 4,196 points. Wayne State's Drew Molacek also competed in his first ever heptathlon and finished third with 3,555 points. Wayne State will next compete on Jan. 16-17 at the UNL Holiday Inn Invitational in Lincoln.
