USTFCCCA All-Academic Women's Cross Country Team Release

            The Wayne State College women's cross country team has received the All-Academic Team Award from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Monday.  For a team to be considered for the award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Championship and also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative grade point average.

            The 2009 Wildcat women's cross country team compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.55 to finish in a tie for 18^th amongst the NCAA Division II schools that received the honor. WSC was one of eight schools from the Northern Sun Conference and 101 Division II schools to be selected for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Award.
