AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll 9-6-10
Despite going 4-0 at the Rockhurst Volleyball Classic over the weekend, winning all four matches in 3-0 sweeps, the Wayne State College volleyball team fell two spots to 19th in the first regular season American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon. The Wildcats received a total of 228 points in voting by Division II coaches from across the country.
Wayne State will play in the Division II Premier Challenge this weekend in Denver, Colorado. The Wildcats face #6 Saint Leo of Florida Friday at 12:00 p.m. and Regis of Colorado at 3:30 p.m. with two more matches against opponents to be determined on Saturday.
