The Wayne State College volleyball team moved up one spot to 21st in this week's AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll released Monday afternoon. The Wildcats improved to 10-6 on the season and 4-3 in the NSIC with three home sweeps last week over South Dakota School of Mines, Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State.
Wayne State received 216 points in voting conducted by various Division II coaches from across the country.
It's the 108th consecutive national ranking for the WSC volleyball program dating back to September 28, 2009.
Wayne State will be on the road this weekend for NSIC contests at the University of Mary Friday night at 6 p.m. and Minot State Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
