Hays Classic (3/28/19)...repeat selection to NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2019 Indoor: Just missed medal in weight throw at NSIC Indoor Championships (2/22/19) taking ninth at 55' 5 1/2''...had season best indoor mark of 55' 9'' to finish eighth at SDSU Last Chance Invite (2/15/19)...aslo placed eighth in weight throw at Concordia Invite (2/8/19) with mark of 54' 4 1'2''...selected to NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2018 Outdoor:  Recorded sixth place finish in the hammer throw at NSIC Outdoor Championships with mark of 174' 6"...season-best mark in hammer throw was 174' 11" to finish seventh at UNK Loper Invite (4/12/18)...top throw in discus was 144' 9" to finish 10th at UNK Loper Invite...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2018 Indoor:  Competed in weight throw during indoor season...was 16th at the NSIC Indoor Championships with mark of 51' 10 1/2"...placed fifth at the Minnesota State Open (1/27/18) with season-best throw of 55' 1"...repeat selection to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.

2017 Outdoor:  Earned All-NSIC honors with third place finish in the hammer throw (175' 10") at the NSIC Outdoor Championships, an NCAA provisional mark...also competed in discus and placed 12th at 136' 0"...threw season-best mark of 145' 10" in the discus at Wildcat Classic (3/26/17) to place eighth overall...was fifth in the hammer throw (164' 8") and eighth in the discus (137' 9") at the SMSU Mustang Open (4/1/17)...named to the NSIC Spring All-Academic Team.

2017 Indoor:  Recorded season-best mark of 56' 1 3/4" in the weight throw to place sixth at the NSIC Indoor Championships (2/25/17)...placed fourth at the USD Last Chance Meet (2/17/17) at 53' 5 3/4" and at the SDSU DII Invite (1/20/17) with mark of 50' 8 1/4"...selected to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team.  

2016 Outdoor:  Threw season-best mark of 154' 4" in the hammer throw to place 12th at NSIC Outdoor Championships in Sioux Falls on 5/14/16...finished 16th in discus at NSIC Championships with throw of 121' 1"...top mark in discus was 135' 2" at Concordia Invite in Seward on 4/9/16.

2016 Indoor:  Placed 13th in the weight throw at the NSIC Indoor Championships with mark of 49' 5"...recorded season-best mark of 50' 1/2" to place 11th at the Nebraska Tune-up Open (2/19/16).

High School:  Graduate of Albert Lea High School in Minnesota...was a three year starter in football, two years in track and field and one year in wrestling...served as team captain in football and track and field one year.

Personal:  Son of Russ and Sheri Nemec...born November 24, 1996...majoring in secondary education at Wayne State.
