2015:  Was a First Team All-NSIC selection after recording 20 double-doubles while leading the team in kills per set...started all 36 matches while playing in all 125 sets...averaged 3.57 kills and 4.74 digs per set, ranking fourth in the NSIC in digs, eighth in kills and ninth in points per set (3.87)...posted career-high 25 kills with 25 digs in 3-1 road win at #2 Northern State (10/30/15)...was named NSIC Defensive Player of the Week (9/28/15)...recorded career-high 33 digs in 3-1 road win at Augustana (10/20/15)...had 17 kills vs. Palm Beach Atlantic in NCAA national semi-final (12/11/15)...became seventh player in school history to record 1,000 career kills/1,000 career digs...selected to the Dunn Hospitality and NCAA Central Region All-Tournament Teams...received the prestigious NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award...named to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team for a third straight season.

2014:  Named Second Team All-NSIC after leading Wayne State in kills per set (3.52) while recording 20 double-doubles in 34 matches...averaged 3.52 kills and 4.04 digs per set with 28 matches of 10 or more digs and 23 matches with 10 or more kills...recorded career-high 23 kills with 13 digs in 3-2 win over #3 Concordia-St. Paul in NSIC Tournament semi-finals (11/14/14)...had career-high 28 digs to go with 12 kills in 3-2 loss at #2 Minnesota Duluth (10/31/14)...credited with 18 kills and 21 digs in NCAA Central Region first round win over Central Missouri (11/20/14)...named to the NCAA Division II Central Region All-Tournament Team and was a repeat selection to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2013:  Played in 28 matches and 101 sets with 27 starts during sophomore season, averaging 4.08 digs and 1.55 kills per set while recording four double-doubles...led Wildcats in service aces with 38 on the season and tied for first in the NSIC averaging 0.38 service aces per set...had 12 kills and 22 digs in 3-2 win over #11 Colorado School of Mines on 9-6-13 followed by 10 kills and 12 digs in next match on 9-7-13 in 3-1 win at #1 Concordia-St. Paul...other double-doubles included 11 kills and 16 digs in 3-0 win at MSU Moorhead (10-4-13) and 10 kills and 21 digs in 3-2 loss at Northern State (10-5-13)...had double digit digs in 26 of 28 matches played...had career-high five service aces at Minot State (11-16-13)...selected to the NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

2012: Hughes appeared in all 113 sets and started 25 matches for WSC during her freshman season...ranked second on the team in digs with 426 and is fourth on the team in kills with 144...Hughes had seven double-doubles this year and averaged 1.27 kills per set and 3.77 digs per set...had a season-high 14 kills in two different games, the first at Minnesota State on 10/5/2012 and the second vs. Southwest Minnesota State on 11/1/2012...Hughes' season-high in digs was 31 at Minnesota State on 10/5/2012...named Honorable Mention Omaha World Herald All-Nebraska Volleyball Team.

High School: Graduate of Seward High School...was a four year standout in both volleyball and basketball...holds various school records in volleyball, including 1,120 kills in a career, 529 kills in a season and 33 in a single match along with 1,130 career digs...during senior season earned Omaha World Herald Class B First Team All-State and Second Team All-Nebraska honors...as a junior she was named Class B First Team All-State and Third Team Super State by Lincoln Journal Star...played a part in four straight unbeaten seasons and Class B state titles in girls basketball at Seward High School...also excels in the classroom earning Academic All-State honors in volleyball.
